The Double-Z rack seeks a simple, elegant, efficient, modular design with artistic merit, avoiding the typical clunky, bulbous forms of most present bicycle racks. The proposed design is sympathetic to the angular and linear standards of the New York City modern bus shelters and sidewalk newsstands, though all aspects of the design include softened edges and corners to maintain pedestrian safety and a bicycle-friendly design.

Powder coated components are offered in two different colors:

Default Neighborhoods:  deep graphite gray

Historic Neighborhoods:  deep reddish-brown (equivalent of cor-ten steel)
